Rediscovering Digimon: A Millennial’s Journey Back to the Digital World. Like many millennials, I first encountered Digimon through the iconic Fox Kids lineup, especially the memorable Saban dub. While some fans drifted away after Digimon Adventure 02 , a dedicated community has stayed passionate about the franchise to this day. Personally, my Digimon fandom has been a bit on and off. If you caught my earlier posts this theme month, you know I recently dove back in through the card game—and when I commit to something, I go all in. During my deep dive into the Digimon universe, particularly while planning content and brainstorming ideas, I stumbled upon some amazing Digimon movies that weren’t even on my radar before. It was around mid-May when I fully ...

To celebrate the upcoming release, Sega has been dropping short animated episodes featuring Shadow the Hedgehog, giving fans a glimpse into his life and setting the stage for the new game. The latest episode begins with a flashback to the Space Colony ARK, where a young Maria Robotnik stumbles upon Shadow brooding in solitude. Does Tree Of Might Hold up?

I'm just a fan   Our story begins in the vastness of space, where a mysterious spacecraft charts a course for a small blue planet we know well—Earth. But before we get too serious, we switch to a peaceful scene of our heroes—Krillin, Bulma, Oolong, and Gohan—enjoying a good old-fashioned camping trip. Well, mostly enjoying it. Gohan, poor kid, brought along some schoolwork, which earns him a fair amount of teasing from his pals. It’s a lighthearted start, setting the stage for the action-packed chaos to come.   As night falls, the tranquility is shattered when that earlier spacecraft crash-lands, igniting a massive wildfire. The flames rage through the forest, displacing wildlife and decimating the landscape. But this is Dragon Ball Z, after all, and when in doubt—po...

Does DragonBall Z: Fusion Reborn Hold Up

Image
Dragon Ball Z has been revered as one of the defining anime series of the 90s, particularly in the United States, where children were frequently seen imitating the actions and techniques of Goku and Vegeta. The quality of the movies, however, was inconsistent, with the latter installments becoming increasingly diluted by a desire to over-extend the brand. Nonetheless, some hidden gems exist in Dragon Ball Z's cinematic oeuvre, such as the movie under review, which I will now analyze to determine if it truly holds up to scrutiny or not. Story: The movie begins at the "Other World" Martial Arts Tournament, with the four Kais watching attentively. All of them are eagerly cheering for their chosen fighter. This is when we are introduced to the character Pikon who has only previously appeared in filler material. As Pikon and Goku face off before the finals, their steely glances reflect their determination to win. Neither utters a word beyond a simple "good luck." Bo...
