Bloodrayne 2 turns 20 years old

Image
copyright: Bloodrayne and Bloodrayne 2 are property of Terminally Reality games Brevity and Ethics: I have no affiliation with Bloodrayne or Terminally Reality, im just a fan Today marks the 20th anniversary of the sequel to one of the most tantalizing, jaw-dropping, and downright seductive vampire games to ever grace the PlayStation 2 and Xbox Original. I didn’t get to sink my teeth into it when it first dropped two decades ago, but I did manage to catch a glimpse at a friend’s place—and I’ve been captivated ever since. Besides Devil May Cry, there weren’t many games that pushed the envelope quite like this one. The visuals were stunning, the combat was intense, and every moment oozed with style and allure. It was a dark, thrilling experience I couldn’t shake from my mind—and frankly, I’m still entranced by it.

Nintendo Confirms Zelda movie

Image
On November 7th 2023, Nintendo made an official announcement: a live-action Zelda movie is in development. Shigeru Miyamoto, one of the most iconic game developers in Nintendo's history, will serve as the Executive Co-Producer alongside movie producer Avi Arad, who has worked on beloved superhero titles such as Spider-Man and Venom. This collaboration between Nintendo and its rival Sony is unprecedented and promising, as it will bring the popular video game series to the big screen. With two of the most notable names in gaming involved in the production, this upcoming film has the potential to be a momentous release. The prospect of a Zelda movie is incredibly promising and holds vast potential. I am eager to see the direction that the filmmakers choose to take this project and envision the possibilities. Will they employ CGI and a green screen akin to contemporary movies like Modern Marvel movies, or opt for an on-location with practical effects production similar to the "Yor...

Game Awards 2023 Nominations+ Predictions.

Image
This December is the annual Game Awards. And with that we also get a slew of "Game of the year" predictions. and as a pedantic nerd i also want to throw my hat in the rain of predictions. While I personally haven't played every game that came out in the year 2023, i can at least say the ones I did play were pretty great. The official nominations are coming out in the middle of November, so if any of the games I list are going to be on there are pretty coincidental at best. But predicting things is always fun.  Game of the year:  Resident evil 4 remake will not only show up as a nomination, i predict Resident evil 4 will win the game of the year award.   Assassins creed: Mirage. The Legend of Zelda: tears of the kingdom.  Spider-man 2 Best Debut:  lies of p: Lies of P is a souls-like action game, and while those games are pretty niche, its a pretty big fish in a small pool where it can easily win without any issue.  Best Narrative:  Diablo 4: Diabl...

Image
Introductions: September 9th 2021 Insomniac games during the playstation showcase Insomniac announced their newest game in their Marvel games universe, Wolverine. While the trailer does not show much other than Logan's harry arms and a claw. So there's not much work to dissect but we can still theorycraft and make predictions.  Slight spoilers in past wolverine stories past and present Japan One of wolverine’s biggest defining moments in Wolverine’s history is his time in Japan.  From his time marrying a yakuza heiress to fighting the Hand clan ninjas and Silver Samurai. Wolverine’s time in Japan has a lot of moments that give enough story to be its own entire game. But even if you don't want that to be its story, Wolverine can return to Mariko in Japan .   Mechanically speaking, Insomniac’s spider-man has some of the most intense stealth mechanics which can be implanted in fights against or stealth around Ninjas.  Taking down Weapon-X While it does happe...
