Sega Delisting 60+ Classic Games

Image
copyright: Sega is property of Sega Brevity and Ethics: I have no affiliation with Sega im just a fan This week, Sega shared an update on their official FAQ website, announcing plans to reorganize some of their game catalog on digital storefronts. With the release of new remasters on the horizon, Sega will be delisting 60 classic titles, including Alien Soldier, Comix Zone, Crazy Taxi, Ecco the Dolphin, Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star III, Phantasy Star IV, and Shining Force II, along with several classic collections. While Sega’s decision aligns with server management and business goals, limiting access to older versions could feel restrictive to fans. It’s understandable that Sega wants to encourage players to experience enhanced remasters, but gamers should have the option to choose between these new versions and the original classics they’ve cherished for years. you can read more of what games will be delisted here:  SEGA Classics FAQ – SEGA Support

Bayonetta turns 16 years old

Image
copyright: Bayonetta is property of both Sega and Platinum Games brevity and ethics: I have no affiliation with Bayonetta, Sega and Platinum games, I'm just a fan  Today marks a milestone for both Platinum Games and Sega, as they celebrate 16 years since collaborating to bring one of the most iconic character action games of the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 era to life. A game renowned for its precise controls, exhilarating soundtrack, stunning combos, and, let's be honest, a seductive charm that's impossible to ignore... Bayonetta. I first heard about Bayonetta on 4chan, in a thread discussing hack-and-slash games. My curiosity got the better of me, so I Googled it. Let’s just say, it was a bit of a wild ride without safe search on! But after some soul-cleansing, I stumbled upon the cutscenes, and soon after, I was completely hooked. The story of a half-witch, half-cleric taking on the divine, with style and sass, was unlike anything I had experienced before. I ended up playing ...

This Fan Project Is All The Rage

Copyright: Streets of Rage is property of Sega, This project was created as a work of love by Bombergames Ethics and brevity: I have no affiliation with Streets of Rage or Sega or Bombergames , im just a fan.  In the world of beat 'em up games, two titans stand tall: Capcom's Final Fight and its fierce competitor, Sega's Streets of Rage.  From the arcades to the heated 90s console wars, Streets of Rage made its mark with its bass-boosted, synth-heavy soundtracks and hard-hitting, bare-knuckle brawling heroes. Sega's gritty street-fighting series wasn’t just a game; it became a cultural icon, delivering thrilling action and unforgettable music that resonated with players and defined an era. Streets of Rage wasn’t just competing—it was carving out its own legacy. Sega capitalized on its unique identity, with gameplay that felt raw and responsive, while the unforgettable soundtrack by Yuzo Koshiro added an electrifying pulse to each punch, kick, and combo. Unlike the more ...

Sonic And Knuckles Celibates It's 30th Anniversary

Image
copyright: sonic, sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles are property of Sega. Brevity and ethics: I have no affiliation with sonic or sega. Im just a fan.  Knuck knuck! It's time to celebrate the anniversary of the game that forever changed Sonic’s legacy. With each new title, the world of Sonic expanded—more playable characters, new modes, and even multiplayer experiences. However, early on, Tails felt more like a "little buddy" tag-along than a true multiplayer partner. Then, during the development of the sequel, someone at Sega asked, “What if you could play as the *bad guy*?” And just like that, Knuckles’ story in the *Sonic & Knuckles* expansion of *Sonic 3* was born. I’ll never forget my first time playing *Sonic & Knuckles*. I was babysitting my nephew, who had just started his Sonic obsession. My brother casually mentioned that I was a Sonic fan (I was deep into *Sonic Heroes* at the time), and my nephew lit up, begging me to play. Being the *cool* uncle that I...

Image
copyright: sonic the hedgehog, shadow the hedgehog and sonic generations x shadow are property of Sega  Brevity and ethics: no affiliation. Just a fan The "Shadow the Hedgehog" anime continues to impress, not only with its stunning animation but also with its compelling storytelling. Fans of the black blur are treated to a visually beautiful, yet darkly optimistic episode, reminiscent of the complex narratives found in the Gundam series, with a J-rock-inspired soundtrack to match. In this episode, Shadow and Team Dark successfully infiltrate a heavily guarded base, finally securing their rocket. As they prepare for takeoff, Rouge playfully teases Shadow about his past, hinting that G.U.N. may have had a hand in shaping it. Shadow acknowledges that G.U.N. is not his enemy, but Omega seems to disagree, taking down multiple rockets targeting the team. One rocket slips through, but Shadow effortlessly deflects it, sending it back toward the G.U.N. agents with a burst of his tra...
