Sega Delisting 60+ Classic Games
Brevity and Ethics: I have no affiliation with Sega im just a fan
This week, Sega shared an update on their official FAQ website, announcing plans to reorganize some of their game catalog on digital storefronts. With the release of new remasters on the horizon, Sega will be delisting 60 classic titles, including Alien Soldier, Comix Zone, Crazy Taxi, Ecco the Dolphin, Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star III, Phantasy Star IV, and Shining Force II, along with several classic collections.
While Sega’s decision aligns with server management and business goals, limiting access to older versions could feel restrictive to fans. It’s understandable that Sega wants to encourage players to experience enhanced remasters, but gamers should have the option to choose between these new versions and the original classics they’ve cherished for years.
