October 27 2021 state of play
To be honest, I think i've become cynical and jaded with my age because a lot of it didn't seem good to me
Good:
Star Ocean:
Star ocean looks sick! Its a series i've always had a secret love affair with and im glad its returning to newer generations of gamers. Seeing the beautiful planets, the space adventures. Its beautiful to see.
Deathverse; Let It Die
Another Suda 51 game gets a sequel. While the first Let It Die is a bit hard as a soulsborne like seeing his take on the battle royale genre of games. The trailer looks like if you took Smash tv and mixed it with some goth horror game. It looks really hype and fun especially for a battle royale type game.
Kart Rider Drift
Kart Rider Drift tricked me at first, i thought it was a weird 3d remake of Mega Man: Battle & Chase. Which initially got me hyped. But sadly, while no mega man i wont deny and say kartrider looks pretty cute on its own.
king of fighter's xv
What started in 94 has kept rolling as we got a new announcement for king of fighter’s 15 and some gameplay for their trailer. The game play itself looks solid but id like to put a spotlight on the new character Dolores
We at the moment do not have gameplay for her yet sadly. But the goth aesthetic looks really nice. Simping aside the announcement also announces the open beta. Which is also really cool
Bad:
Five nights at Freddy’s
It sure is another Five nights at Freddy’s game, i know im a horror fan and all. And im basically a horror boomer at this point. But they just don't do it for me sadly
1st world trouble
Its among us. But in 3d. And not the spooky lone spaceman one either
Other:
I dont know enough about ofk to make a judgement. If you like them then thats cool
Bugsnax the Isle of Bigsnax
The update for Bugsnax looks cute. Though i haven't played Bugsnax everything i've seen of it has been cute and adorable. I haven't gotten around to personally playing it. But it looks fun and def seems worth checking out.
Overall
Its a pretty decent show, though some stuff could have been cut out but its not bad
