Netflix to adapt Scott Pilgrim into an animated series?



As of January 7th, 2021 “The Hollywood Reporter” announced Netflix is going to make an animated adaptation of Scott pilgrim vs the world. In said announcement it notes that Bryan Lee O’Malley will be writing and co-producing the adaptation.


I am cautious yet excited for the series to be released. Netflix's history of adapting series is a mixed bag, with positives like Castlevania and The Witcher being moderately faithful. But shows like 13 Reasons why and Cowboy Bebop being bad make me hesitant on being excited. 


Netflix themself have not made an official report as of now; however, if they actually are making said animated series then I hope it's like Castlevania and The Witcher
