Game Awards 2023 Nominations+ Predictions.

This December is the annual Game Awards. And with that we also get a slew of "Game of the year" predictions. and as a pedantic nerd i also want to throw my hat in the rain of predictions. While I personally haven't played every game that came out in the year 2023, i can at least say the ones I did play were pretty great. The official nominations are coming out in the middle of November, so if any of the games I list are going to be on there are pretty coincidental at best. But predicting things is always fun.

Game of the year:

Resident evil 4 remake will not only show up as a nomination, i predict Resident evil 4 will win the game of the year award.

Assassins creed: Mirage.

The Legend of Zelda: tears of the kingdom.

Spider-man 2

Best Debut:

lies of p: Lies of P is a souls-like action game, and while those games are pretty niche, its a pretty big fish in a small pool where it can easily win without any issue.

Best Narrative:
Diablo 4: Diablo 4 is a very macabre dungeon crawler with an ever expanding story and power up tree which i feel will win the award if on the list

Social Impact award:

Forspoken: i predict forspoken will show up on the social impact award listing and win. it shows a great narative about mental health about the struggle black women have with it.

best design:
Resident evil 4 remake.
diablo 4
Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom

The Audience award:
I feel as though gamers are a fun and mixed bunch, theres so many good games that came out, and so many tastes that a few different games could get this. But im going to say one of two games will win. Eiter Resident Evil 4 remake or Super Mario Wonder.

Best Visual art award:
there's a lot of good visual designs when it came to video games that came out in 2023, but with that being said. Super Mario wonder has a really good and fun design thats vibrant and full of wonder and fun that anyone can enjoy.
