The Legacy was the key all along! Remember when Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr. and Randy "Legend Killer" Orton were dominating the WWE? Fans were praying for a Randy Orton return, but with his back injuries, it seemed unlikely. At War Games, as the Judgement Day was beating the good guys, it seemed like all hope was lost. Then, at the last minute, the Legacy appeared to turn the tide! Fans erupted in excitement as Randy Orton came out of retirement, proving that a legend never truly dies!It was a truly epic moment for the WWE universe! The Legacy reunited and overcame their adversaries, showing that when superheroes are backed into a corner, they always find a way to prevail. Fans could not contain their excitement as Randy Orton once again stood in the ring, proving that when your back is against the wall, never give up hope. With the power of teamwork, they overcame the odds and won the day, much to the delight of wrestling fans around the world.
As the War Games Match came to a dramatic close, the crowd was left in suspense, wondering what surprises awaited them next. When a familiar song started playing, they knew just who it was. C.M Punk, fresh off his brief AEW stint, came out to the ring to the cheers of the WWE Universe. Punk didn't take a side in the battle between the faces and the heels, he was there to make a point. His mere presence was enough to send Drew "Back Mcmuscles" McIntyre and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins into a rage, proving his lasting influence on the world of wrestling. As Seth gives Punk a big middle finger as the PPV ends.
The on-screen reveal of CM Punk's return sent the WWE crowd into a frenzy of cheers! Fans were thrilled that Punk would no longer be tied down by AEW rules, while WWE fans celebrated the company's acquisition of yet another big name. With Cody Rhodes, Jade Cargill, CM Punk, and Brian Pillman Jr. all switching sides, it was clear that WWE is where the big boys play! The crowd was electric with excitement, eager to see what drama Punk would bring to the WWE Universe.
I'm happy to see that time and money do mend all wounds and HHH and Punk were able to re-build the bridge that punk absolutely destroyed when he dropped his infamous "Pipebomb" promo when he left the WWE for the professional wrestling industry as a whole. It's great to see Punk happy to be in the industry and able to thrive, and glad to see Orton still able to give it all he has to preform a great match.
Also shout out to R-Truth for his return too.
