Konami has been forging a powerful redemption arc lately, and they don't seem to be slowing down. After the failures of Metal Gear Solid V and the pachislot controversy, the company appears to be turning over a new leaf. They announced a new Contra game, which has thrilled fans of the beloved action shooter Franchise. And to top it off, they even released a demo of Operation Galuga, a remake of the original Contra, on the Nintendo Switch. It seems Konami is making every effort to make up for its past mistakes. Looks like the Konami rebirth is real!

The gameplay for the new Contra game looks like it's sticking close to the series' roots as a classic 2D action platformer. With a lot of Alien shootin' action

But there's a twist! The cutscenes are fully voice-acted, making for a thrilling, immersive experience. Plus, WayForward is taking the wheel of development, so we're in for a wild ride!
