Nintendo has recently unveiled exciting details about "Emio" and the smiling man. In a new update to the Nintendo Store, it was revealed that Emio is officially titled "Emio - The Smiling Man, Famicom Detective Club." This announcement marks the return of the long-dormant Famicom Detective series with a thrilling new sequel.

The creator of both Famicom Detective Club and Metroid recently shared insights in a video blog about the making of "Emio." He reminisced about the journey of creating the sequel, revealing how the idea came to life and how he received the green light to bring "Emio" to fans.




Three years ago, Nintendo delighted fans with the remake of the Famicom Detective series for the Switch. However, we never got a true sequel—until now. Mark your calendars for August 29th, as the highly anticipated new installment is set to release, bringing this beloved series back in style!
