Recently, Bloober Team, the studio behind the hit survival horror remake Silent Hill 2, as well as Chronos and fan favourite The Medium, surprised fans by launching a mysterious countdown website called Remo. The site appeared without any announcement or explanation ust an eerie timer counting down with no clear hint at what’s coming.
Naturally, Chronos fans quickly went into detective mode.
Many fans noticed that the name “Remo” may be an anagram for “Remembered love, sorrow, dreams,” a phrase found in Silent Hill 2. Given Bloober Team’s long-standing love for symbolism, hidden meaning, and psychological horror, this discovery feels very intentional.
Even more interesting, a growing number of Chronos fans believe the Remo countdown is teasing a sequel or follow-up to Bloober Team’s earlier game, Chronos: Before the Ashes. The cryptic presentation of the website, combined with thematic similarities and deliberately vague messaging, has fueled speculation that something Chronos-related may be on the way.
With Bloober Team staying completely silent and the website offering more questions than answers, the Remo countdown feels like a classic psychological horror tease. Whether this leads to a Chronos sequel, a new horror project, or another surprise announcement, fans are now watching the countdown closely.
