Today, a major announcement sent a ripple through the Dragon Ball fandom equal parts excitement and cautious skepticism.

During the Genkidamatsuri event celebrating Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary, legendary voice actress Masako Nozawa and executive producer Akio Iyoku officially revealed the next chapter of the franchise: Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol.

Naturally, the announcement lit up the community. However, not all reactions were pure hype. Many fans were hoping for confirmation that the long-awaited Moro and Granolah arcs would finally make their animaed debut. Instead, the reveal came with very little concrete information, leaving fans myself included holding their breath.

The hesitation is understandable. The Granolah arc, in particular, generated significant buzz and introduced compelling new characters and lore. To leave it on the sidelines would feel like a missed opportunity and, frankly, money left on the table. For now, fans can only speculate and wait, hoping that future announcements will deliver the clarity (and payoff) we’ve been waiting for.
