Happy Anniversary, Pokemon franchise! It's the anniversary of a beloved and iconic Nintendo franchise, and today is no exception. The annual Pokemon Day anniversary streams are here to celebrate the franchise's 28th birthday. And with the anniversary, brings us really big announcements for the franchise and all of its outlets! We did a write up of what were hoping for, for today's event. which you can read here

The Pokemon Day announcement got off to a tame but decent start, starting off with a raid for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Players have a chance to capture a unique version of Venusaur, Blastoise or Charizard during the raid. The original elemental trio continues to live on in pokemon history. after the scarlet and violet update the anniversary continues with a barrage of Mobile game updates. 

Mobile updates:

Moving on to the mobile portion of the Pokemon Day announcement, we get a look at what's happening in Pokemon Go. A Pikachu wearing a captain's hat with the move volt tackle is heading to the handheld game.  The electrifying mascot is sure to spark your excitement. if not, there is also going to be three new pokemon are also joining the game: Charcadet, Armarouge and Ceruledge. 

While it wasn't verbally announced during the event, the screen briefly showed an image of a new Pokemon anime called Pokemon Horizons. It's the Netflix adaptation of the adventures from the protagonists of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which means fans of the game can now watch the story unfold from a new perspective with the anime. It'll certainly be a fun addition to the celebration and a great way to explore the lore of the world from a new point of view.

Next up, the Nintendo mobile takeover continues as they announce exciting news for Pokemon Sleep. That adorable and cozy game is getting a shocking update with the addition of Raikou. Not only that, but Suicune and Entei are coming to the game as well! Fans can look forward to cozying up and catching some precious snoozing Pokemon as they get ready for another fun and exciting adventure!

There's a major update coming to the hit mobile game Pokemon Masters EX, and this one's a whopper. The fearsome villain of Pokemon gen 2, Silver, is making his way to the game, and he's not coming alone. His trusty allies Geeta and Glimora are joining the fight as well, creating a fierce team of enemies that will put your skills to the test. Can you have what it takes to take on such fierce foes?

It's time to wrap up the handheld portion of the Pokemon Day celebrations as Pokemon Cafe ReMix is getting a major update of Scarlet and Violet Pokemon. So, fans of cute and cozy adventures can look forward to welcoming some new members of the Pokemon family. As for PC and console gaming, several Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Unite, so get ready to battle it out with your favorite little pocket monsters in the virtual world. But we're not done yet! Let's see what the major announcements have in store for us all.

Major announcements:

Nintendo has caught us all off guard with a massive Pokemon announcement! Initially, we weren't sure what to expect. The teaser started out with a Pikachu running around a mysterious world coming to life, and then it cut to Lumiose City, the city from Pokemon X/Y. The initial uncertainty turned to sheer excitement as we witnessed the birth of a whole new adventure in the Pokemon world. It caught everyone by surprise, and then the title was revealed, leaving us all on the edge of our seats in anticipation.

And hats when the reveal hit not only me, but every pokemon fan. the announcement of Pokemon legends: Z. The long awaited Pokemon z which was teased then forgotten finally came to play.
